tL’s phOTOGRAPH_oF_tHE_dAY #1589 - Barn Swallow Nest; as its name implies are nests built by Barn Swallows that are inside accessible buildings such as barns & stables. The cup-shaped nest is placed on a beam or against a suitable vertical projection. It is constructed more often by the female, with mud pellets collected in her beaks.
