TEDD LiGGETT’s phOTOGRAPH_oF_tHE_dAY #1105 \ tOMBSTONE

tL's phOTOGRAPH_oF_tHE_dAY #1105 - Tombstone, Arizona. On this spot the Earp and Clanton factions met on October 26, 1881, to settle the West’s most famous feud. 30 shots were fired in 30 seconds. Gunfighter & gambler Doc Holliday stood on Fremont Street and dropped the cowboy brothers Frank and Tom McLaury. Billy Clanton, a rancher died where he stood. City Marshall Virgil & his western lawman brother Morgan Earp were wounded. This gunfight has come to symbolize the struggle between law and order, political vendetta, abuse of authority and open banditry.
