TEDD LiGGETT’s phOTOGRAPH_oF_tHE_dAY #1398 \ LAND nAiL

tL's phOTOGRAPH_oF_tHE_dAY #1398 - Land Nail. The nitty gritty foundation of one of two arch supports for the O'Callaghan-Tillman Memorial Bridge (or the Hoover Dam Bypass Bridge). Note the 16’ ladder.

Spanning over the Colorado River, joining two states, Nevada and Arizona, the design blends steel and concrete composites which’ll make this the longest span (1,060 feet) bridge (1,900 feet) in the U.S.
