tL's phOTOGRAPH_oF_tHE_dAY #1482 - the Spad XIII, a French single-seat biplane fighter aircraft of the First World War. Flown by Frank Luke, a WWI hero known as ‘Balloon Buster”. This aeroplane had a synchronized armament of two machine guns, a top speed of 138 mph and a fuel tank for two hours of flying.
