tL's phOTOGRAPH_oF_tHE_dAY #1999 - From 1913 to 1957 Fred Shaw operated a Carnival that traveled the Fair & Show circuit in Iowa and the midwest.
From 1957 to 1968 the C.W. Parker Carousel #118 was owned & used by the Ce-Mar Acres Amusement Park near Cedar Falls, Iowa. The owners were the McElhinneys and they lived in a house on the grounds of the Ce-Mar Amusement Park until the parks closing in 1968.
