tL's phOTOGRAPH_oF_tHE_dAY #1320 - looking sideways & upwards at the Petronas Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. The 3rd tallest building in the world reaches 452 meters (1,486 feet), 88 floors and is 118 feet taller than what used to be New York City’s World Trade Center Twin Towers. Architecturally featured is the two-story skybridge, conecting the twin towers at the 41st and 42nd floor. The foundations sink to a depth of 394 feet below sidewalk level and after a 7 year build was the world’s tallest (2004) until the completion of the Taipei 101 Financial Center in Taiwan at 1,667 feet). (that height record will soon be broken by Burj Dubai)
